BRAINLAWS

Privacy Policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

Brainlaws is a daily puzzle game. You play without creating an account and without giving us your name, email, phone number or location. This policy explains the little data we do process, why, and what you can do about it.

In short: we store an anonymous player ID and how you play (taps, time, which worlds you solved and whether you asked for the law). We use it to run the game, show the daily ranking and make the puzzles better. We do not show ads, we do not track you across apps, and we never sell data.

Who we are

The data controller is Engineering Hub Projects SRL, VAT number RO28021976, Șoseaua Berceni 96, Bucharest, Romania. Contact: game@enhub.ro.

Your "Mind Print"

At the end of each day the game shows indicators such as fluid reasoning and speed of insight. They are calculated from your gameplay only, are for entertainment and self-reflection, and are not an IQ score, a medical or psychological assessment, or a diagnosis. We do not use them to make any decision that has legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not share them with anyone. We look at results only under a random player ID, never a name, to detect cheating, tune puzzle difficulty and calibrate the indicators. We never try to find out who you are.

Legal basis

  • Providing the game (anonymous ID, gameplay data, ranking): necessary to provide the service you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Improving the game and calibrating the indicators using aggregated statistics: our legitimate interest in making the game better (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time by writing to us.

Who processes the data for us

  • Supabase: hosts our database and the anonymous sign-in. Data is stored in the European Union (AWS eu-west-1, Ireland).
  • Google Fonts: the app loads its typefaces from Google's servers, which receive your device's IP address when fonts are downloaded.
  • Apple and Google: distribute the app through their stores and process data under their own privacy policies.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep gameplay data while you play. If an anonymous player has not played for 24 months, we delete their data or reduce it to anonymous statistics that cannot be linked back to them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).

Because we do not know who you are, write to game@enhub.ro from your device and tell us roughly when you played; we will help you identify your data. Deleting the app removes the progress stored on your phone.

Deleting your data

Brainlaws doesn't use accounts. Open the app → Settings (⚙) → "Delete my data" to permanently erase your progress, passports and expedition history from our servers. Uninstalling the app removes the local data. You can also email play@enhub.ro with your citizen/player number and we'll delete it within 30 days.

Children

Brainlaws is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the game and want their data removed, contact us.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Database access rules allow each player to read only their own records; rankings are computed on the server without exposing other players' data.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app when the change is significant.
